Baghdad / NINA / 2nd March 2021 - First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Karim Al-Kaabi, affirmed that the diplomatic missions in Baghdad and other governorates are part of diplomatic, political and cultural exchange and have come to consolidate their countries' relationship with Iraq."

"The current trend is for our country to be open to the outside world and interested in close cooperation with the missions inside the country and at all levels, in a way that serves common interests," Al-Kaabi said during his meeting in his office today, Tuesday.

Al-Kaabi called for activating the role of the Iraqi-Serbian Friendship Committee at all levels, especially health, economy, security, education and aspects of common interest, in addition to the exchange of official visits between the governments of the two countries to serve the interests of the two peoples.

For his part, the Serbian Ambassador affirmed that the coming period will witness a visit by the Deputy Speaker of the Serbian Parliament and a number of MPs to Baghdad to develop relations between the two friendly countries, and the exchange of parliamentary experiences between the two legislative institutions."
